In calculating garment SAM, the following eight primary parameters are taken into account:
RPM of Machine
During the calculation of SAM of
operators for the same operations, all operators should be provided the same
RPM machines.
Machine allowance as per machine
type
All the same types of machines
should have to provide the same allowance.
Seam length
The same seam length has to provide
for all operators to sew.
Stitch per inch (SPI)
Same SPI have to use.
Stopping Accuracy
Stopping accuracy will depend on
operators
The difficulty level in material
handling
The same type of fabric has to be
provided, but the material handling will vary from man to man.
